Xavier joined Gimar late 2007 to further develop the diversified industries footprint and key assignments include Assa Abloy for the acquisition of Agta Record, sale of eFront, insurance group Covéa, and Areva Xavier started his career in London in equity derivatives in 1993, and moved to Equity Capital Markets at HSBC then BNP Paribas where he lead or co-lead equity offerings for Benelux companies. Back to France in 2000, Xavier joined the M&A Technology Team of BNP Paribas, until 2007. He was in charge of Software, IT Services and Hardware. He advised companies like Safran, Ingenico, Business Objects, Alcatel (for its merger with Lucent), LogicaCMG and worked of significant sector consolidation transactions. He also worked for a number of Private Equity firms. Xavier is a Civil Engineer and holds a Masters in finance from ESCP in Paris.
